Printed Tags
Make it your own.
Printed tags (also referred to as inner neck tags), are a great way to get rid of irritating manufacturing tags, while taking your apparel to the next level.
When producing with brands such as Gildan, Bella + Canvas, or AS Colour, applying a printed tag to the inner neck makes the garment your own!
Image Size
Our standard max image size for tag printing is 2.75”W , with the height varying depending on conyrny . Large tags can be printed, but have a small price increase.
Ink Colors
Standard application for tag printing uses what we call our ‘tag grey’. Essentially, this is 50% black, 50% white, giving us what we need for all colours. Do you have a colour in mind? Let your Witly rep. know!
Ink changes are not allowed on tag prints.
Recommended Information
We recommend including the following information in your art: Company Name, CA# or RN#, Fabric Contents, Country of Origin, and Care Instructions.
Your CA# or RN#, Fabric Content, and Country of Origin are necessary for any product being shipped internationally.
Font Size
Keep fonts in your tag art moderately bold. We recommend a minimum of 2mm height on your font for best results. We can go smaller, but anything less than what’s recommended may not be legible, depending on your garment choice, inks, and colour used.
Minimum Quantities
Our minimum order for tag printing is 24 units per design. The size breakdown of those 24 units is up to you.
Should you decide to change the garment style on your order, you’ll be required to purchase a minimum of 24 units for that second style to qualify for tag printing. Different garments with different fabrics and origins require a separate new tag to remain accurate, so you must meet the minimum of 24 for any individual garment on your order.
Tearaway Tags
Purchasing shirts with tearaway tags is recommended when you're getting inner neck tags done. This insures the highest quality removal, and the crispest final product.
Tag Removal
Please allow for 3 extra days in your turnaround for the removal of sewn manufacturer tag. Not all seam styles are the same, making each removal process unique.
Placement
There is a 0.5” placement allowance in any direction on tag prints.
PROCESS
We remove the existing neck tag from your t-shirt, and screen print in your custom branded printed tag.
